CATHOLIC EDUCATION WEEK 2016

posted Apr 30, 2016, 4:09 PM by Carole Parent
On Monday, May 2nd, we start our Catholic Education Week with a breakfast for our volunteers from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. We provide babysitting services for school aged children. Throughout the day, students and staff will gather as divisions (kindergarten, primary and junior) to celebrate the beginning of Education Week with a short Liturgy of the Word. Our choir will participate in Music Monday.
On Tuesday, May 3rd, we are opening our doors from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for parents wanting to learn a little about the apps, the software and the programs we use in different classes. All are welcome to our "Hands on Tech" event. The students helping the teachers present will be treated to a dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, May 4th, we open our doors from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to parents and grandparents who might want to attend our general practice for our Musical Theatre Presentation. All classes have been preparing a dance and song number with a professional artist since February for this special event.
On Thursday, May 5th, we open our doors to parents and grandparents who might be off work to see our final production of our Musical Theatre from 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
On Friday, May 6th, all students are invited to come to school in their pajamas along with their favourite stuffed animal.  From 11:00 a.m. to noon, we are opening our doors to grandparents who might want to come pay a visit to their grandchildren and read with them or listen to them present some work done using technology.
Happy Education Week everyone!
